Legacy Foundation Grant Awards for Spring 2007

Lake County, Indiana (May 18, 2007)—In April the Legacy Foundation Board of Directors approved grants for the following projects:

Images of Hope—Lake County Community Fund, $5,370 for a portable “Smart Board” to facilitate computer based training throughout the facility.

Calumet College of St. Joseph—Lake County Community Fund, $13,016 to inventory, organize and prepare three collections of historic materials for archiving at the college.

LakeNET, Inc.—Lake County Community Fund, $7,500 for upgrades to the website, www.lakenetnwi.org.

Sojourner Truth House—Lake County Community Fund, $7,396 for an upgrade in technology hardware to increase capacity to serve clients and facilitate USDA reporting requirements.

Brothers Uplifting Brothers, Inc.—Knight Donor Advised Fund, $3,600 to increase agency’s technological capacity to better serve clients seeking HIV/AIDS housing support services/ treatment and prevention information.
