EDUCATION
Calumet College of St. Joseph
Calumet College of St. Joseph is a degree-granting, Catholic institution of higher education sponsored by the Missionaries of the Precious Blood. The college prepares graduates for careers and graduate school with academic and professional programs based on a strong foundation in the liberal arts and sciences. Gifts to this permanent endowment fund are welcomed.
Challenger Learning Center of NWI
Challenger Learning Center of NWI's mission is to create an exciting learning environment in our Challenger and Columbia simulators that is designed to explore space through innovative programs that will change how teachers educate, students learn and foster in them a long-term interest in science, math and technology. Individual funds have been established for the following school corporations:
St. Mary’s Griffith
Highland School Corporation
Merrillville School Corporation
Griffith School Corporation
Hobart School Corporation
Lake Station School Corporation
A fund has also been established, The Challenger Learning Center Fund, to support the operations of the Center. Contributions are welcome to a fund specifically for a school district or for the general program.
Hammond Public Library
Hammond Public Library's Endowment Fund was established by the Library to provide fiscal oversight and investment expertise for the Library's endowment assets. Contributions are welcomed and encouraged to support library services in Hammond, IN.
Hobart Educational Foundation
Hobart Educational Foundation was formed to create links between public schools, civic groups, government, business and interested citizens. The foundation's purpose is to bring the resources of the community to the schools. Its Mission Statement is as follows:
The Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation organized to solicit, receive and allocate gifts, grants, and bequests of money, property or services to enhance programs, activities, and facilities of the School City of Hobart, to establish partnerships with the business community for the benefit of the School City of Hobart and to enhance the bond between the School City and the community.
Lake Central Education Foundation
Lake Central Education Foundation is a group of community volunteers who generate financial support for the Lake Central School Corporation. Twice each year grants are offered for innovative student activities. Funding for these projects comes directly from memberships and Garfield license plates. The LCEF established this permanent endowment fund to attract other such gifts from individuals desiring to invest in educational opportunities for the Lake Central School Corporation. Gifts are encouraged.
Lake County Public Library
Lake County Public Library partnered with Legacy Foundation to provide fiscal oversight and investment expertise for the Library's endowment assets. Contributions are welcomed and encouraged to support library services in the communities served by the Lake County Public Library.
Lowell Public Library
Lowell Public Library partnered with Legacy Foundation to provide fiscal oversight and investment expertise for the Library’s endowment assets. Contributions are welcomed and encouraged to support library services in Lowell, IN.
