Hammond Community Corporation
Hammond Community Corporation established by the City of Hammond for the social betterment of the community in 1997. The organization is designed to grant financial assistance to Hammond not-for-profit organizations to enrich the quality of life in the community. The Hammond Community Corporation was originally funded by money donated from the Horseshoe Casino, Hammond. Contributions are welcome to this fund to benefit the citizenry of Hammond, IN.

Hammond Youth Golf Academy
Contributions are welcome to support the endowment fund for the Hammond Youth Golf Academy at Lost Marsh built on Indiana's largest brownfield site. The site was contaminated with nontoxic slag from nearby steel mills for more than 50 years. Not only did this remarkable youth course combine efforts between the city and several professional golf organizations to get kids interested in golf and provide affordable courses, the course is one of the first models of the World Golf Foundation's "First Tee" program and has received national recognition for its emphasis on affordable golf and the construction of a complete nine-hole golf course and clubhouse exclusively for children. The Hammond Youth Golf Academy is partnering with the Hammond Public and Parochial Schools, Hammond Parks and Recreation, Boys and Girls Clubs, and Hammond Area YMCA to provide golf and educational opportunities to the youth in the community. The facility has made a substantial impact on the environment and offers a world of opportunities for the children of Hammond and the surrounding areas.

Hobart Community Fund
Hobart Community Fund was established in 2006 improve the quality of life for the citizen’s of Hobart. Gifts are welcome to support this fund.

Merrillville Parks and Recreation
The Merrillville Parks and Recreation Fund was established in 2005 to support the construction of a veteran’s memorial in the town of Merrillville. The Merrillville/Ross Township Veterans Memorial Commemorative Brick Program offers a unique opportunity to remember a loved one. For a contribution of $50, a special brick will be engraved with the name of the local veteran of your choice. The engraved brick will be placed at the Veterans Memorial Plaza. The Merrillville Parks and Recreation Foundation Fund has been established within the Legacy Foundation, Inc. to support this special project.

Miller Community Fund
Miller Community Fund serves to secure and direct long-term and short-term resources toward projects and organizations in the Miller community and the 46403 Zip Code so as to positively influence the quality of life in those areas. Contributions are welcome to this fund for the enhancement of the Miller community.

NWI Habitat for Humanity
The Clement B. Knapp Jr. family has made the NWI Habitat for Humanity a family affair through their volunteer activities. In 2002, they established this permanent endowment for the NWI Habitat for Humanity in recognition of this spirit of volunteerism. Additional contributions are encouraged.

Whiting Robertsdale Community Improvement Corporation
Whiting Robertsdale Community Improvement Corporation established with money donated from Horseshoe Casino, Hammond to benefit the residents of these communities. The corporation has assisted residents in renovating, fixing up or restoring their homes within the architectural integrity and scale of the neighborhood in which the home is located.  Sponsoring local banking institutions, in partnership with the Whiting-Robertsdale Community Improvement Corporation, Inc., offered low rates for single-family home improvements and rehabilitation assistance. The Whiting-Robertsdale Community Improvement Corporation, Inc. reduced loans ranging from $5,000 through $50,000 from 7% to 4% for the first five years of the loans.
